In May of 1978, he attended the Small Arms Maintenance course in Vilseck Germany and became the Head Armorer for the 1st/36th FA. In January,1979 he received additional training at Fort Lee in Virginia, attending the SP4-Unit and Organization Supplyman course.
Richard is the creator and Webmaster of the new and upcoming rikkp.com website and the registered Mediator for it's online Message-board. He is also a registered Yahoo Expert for Geocities.com in the Website Design category.
In 1999 Richard completed the Website Design Certificate Program at Bristol Community College in cooperation with the Division of Enrollment Services Center for Business & Industry and went on to receive an Associate in Science in Computer Information Systems / Webmaster Option in 2004.
Concentration in: Advanced XHTML, ColdFusion MX and Web graphics design.
Richard is currently working as a freelance Web Developer and plans to continue with his research on the subjects related to Web design. These would include, but are not limited to, advanced XHTML topics, file compression, JavaScript, Web graphics and Dynamic data base driven website development.
He is also working on a project that will enable business owners in his hometown of Tiverton to list their company information in an online business directory.
The website will also offer several other features, including a Local Website Directory, where business owners can list their existing website or purchase a single webpage business card.
This project is currently in the first stage of development and we hope to have many of it's planned features available by the end of April.
